It’s the breathtaking sound produced with the marriage of horns and vocals with a pulsing rhythm section!
That is the inspiration for
Queenie and the Groove Kings!

What People Are Saying...

We were at Butcharts tonight, and we had a great time! It was 90 minutes of toe tapping fun! You looked like you were having a great time too! You really look like you just love what you do, it is so apparent. Those backup singers were amazing. Do they do more than 1 song, when you perform longer?
Sabrina and Al

“What a night!  We really enjoyed the music and the performance.  It was so much fun.  The band was so talented and the vocalists provided a great show.  We could tell by the crowd singing along that everyone felt the same.”
Hope Hilliard

“You were great to listen to … yes, what a perfect night!”
Corinne Marshall

“We were blown away by this band!  The calibre of this group went far beyond our expectations. Not only does Queenie have a terrific voice and stage presence but also her instrumental backup (some of who also sing quite well) were terrific: two saxes, a trombone, a trumpet, a drummer, a lead and bass guitar and a keyboard gives this group all the ammo it needs to belt out a wide repertoire of terrific hits.”
Barry Gaetz

“What a wonderful job you all did. The energy level on that little stage, could have powered the Legislature light bulbs.
Keep up the good work.”
Wendy W.
